So this is something a little different from my usual fare.  My husband is planning a new Warhammer army.  This one has a Lovecraft theme.  This is the new Cthulu model from Reaper’s new Bones line of miniatures.  I wish that I had taken pictures of the model before I’d put the polyurethane finish on it.  I don’t care for the shine.  My husband is convinced that since the old one will be emerging from the water, it should be glossy.  I’m not so sure.  Still, I’m finding that the primer does not adhere to the Bones plastic as well as I would like.  Getting a sealant on the model was imperative.  I’ll decide whether to Dull Cote it later.  Getting good pictures has been very difficult.  They really don’t do justice to the paint job.  It is definitely one of my best.  I’ve started to get a handle on blending.
